My name is Stéphane Houdayer.
I work as a Digital Product Designer.

Berlin Munich, Germany.
about me
Welcome on my portfolio website
How I work:
From research to prototyping and user testing
I like to work on the full design process, I am both UX focused and UI detail-oriented. I go the « extra-mile », producing high-fidelity prototypes with animations to have a result as close as possible to the validated design, thus working hand-in-hand with developers.

Experience:
I used to be a UX/UI Design Teacher Assistant. My role was to transmit UX methodologies to junior designers, give UI principles workshops on Sketch, Figma, Principle. Now working as a freelancer, I nurture each day my visual competencies, improving the usability of existing websites or creating modern and user-focused platforms.

Me personally:
I keep busy outside of work with two-times a week
bouldering sessions, basketball and bike trips in the summer, as well as weekend excursions around Europe. I speak four languages (French, English, Polish and German).
Food ideas if you need to bribe me: croissant, lemon tart, polish pierogi, butter brezel.
My path to become a designer:
- BA Université Paris Diderot in English Studies.
- California State University Fullerton, Communications major.
- MA Université Paris Diderot in Visual Communications and Entrepreneurship.
- Ironhack Berlin UX/UI Design Bootcamp

Valuable internships and work experience:
-
France Ministry of Culture and Communications, Events.
- KPMG  Events, Communications and Marketing.
-
NUMA Startup acceleration program and B2B clients.
-
Ironhack Paris / Ironhack Berlin UX/UI Design Teacher Assistant.
- Freelance Digital Product Designer

My experiences taught me the importance of
an analytic and empathetic mind. I learned about user research, group collaboration with different technical skilled profiles, working under deadlines and reaching KPI’s, but above all the importance of communication and my passion for design.
